SRICD 2007 Board Elections                                                                                  

The Southern Rhode Island Conservation District (SRICD) is pleased to announce that Harvey Buford of Hopkinton was elected to the board of directors on November 6, 2007.

Sadly, Patricia Lenihan of East Greenwich stepped down from the board and as her position of Chair on November 6, 2007. We will miss her very much.

In December 2007, the following slate of SRICD officers were elected:

Board Chair - Clark Collins of South Kingstown

Vice Chair - Rudi Hempe

Treasurer - Steve DelPozzo

Secretary - Harriet Powell

District Directors to serve a three (3) year term.

For all elections and appointments to the Board of SRICD, nomination petitions must be subscribed by twenty-five or more occupiers of lands within the boundaries of Kent and Washington Counties. Nomination papers may be obtained at SRICD's office in Wakefield or click here.
