Each Conservation District is governed by a five member Board of Directors. District Directors must be local landowners and are either elected or appointed to a three year term of office according to RIGL 2-4-8 and RIGL 2-4-9. Directors represent local citizens in conservation issues.
For all elections and appointments to the Board of SRICD, nomination petitions must be signed by twenty-five or more occupiers of lands within the boundaries of Kent and Washington Counties. Nomination papers may be obtained at SRICD's office or click here.:
Southern Rhode Island Conservation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
